Tulsa Drivers Face New Detours On I-244 At Arkansas River Bridge

Tulsa drivers will experience several changes on I-244 in the downtown area as construction crews begin a new phase of the Arkansas River bridge replacement project.

Eastbound traffic over the Arkansas River Bridge is now funneled over to the new westbound bridge until the project is completed.

The construction area is located on the southwest corner of the Inner Dispersal Loop in downtown Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says while crews build a new eastbound bridge, the westbound bridge will include both east and westbound traffic.
