It's safe to say 5k races are normally enough for the average person. Marathons are for a whole other level of athlete.
But what about a double marathon?
That's exactly what a group ran Friday night and Saturday.
The annual event put on by Tulsa Area Trail and Ultra Runners (TATUR) puts runners to the test.
It requires months of physical training up until the day of the event.
Athletes had 13 hours to complete the 10-mile loop five times.
Midnight madness is not for the weak of heart.
"The winner two years ago, a female actually won the race," TATUR Racing owner Brian Hoover said. "She beat all the males. She finished just over 7 hours -- 7 hours and 1 minute."
The prize for winning the grueling race is a medal and bragging rights.
