The man Tulsa police said went on a meth-fueled crime spree that ended at the River Spirit Casino on April 14, 2013 is now facing several new charges.

Joseph Giroux was charged Monday with attempted kidnapping, feloniously pointing a firearm, discharging a weapon into a dwelling or public place, possession of a firearm after a previous felony conviction, possession of a sawed-off shotgun, leaving the scene of a collision involving an injury and DUI drugs.

Police say Joseph Giroux tried to kidnap a woman and her brother at QuikTrip last week and fired a sawed-off shotgun into an empty apartment. He ran from police and was arrested inside the River Spirit Casino.

Giroux told police his meth was laced with something that "made him crazy."
