Tulsa Man Hit By Car, Killed Near Tahlequah

A pedestrian was hit by a car and killed about three miles from Tahlequah Tuesday.

It happened just minutes before midnight.

A man was struck by a Ford Focus driven by Robert Hensley, 60, of Stilwell. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Hensley was driving east on Highway 62 and was unable to avoid hitting the man walking on the road.

Timothy Casey, 53, of Tulsa, was thrown some distance, OHP said. Casey was pronounced dead at the scene by Tahlequah EMS.
