One-Wheel Driving Results In Injury Motorcycle Crash In Tulsa

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated the crash of a motorcycle on Interstate 44 just west of the Broken Arrow Expressway intersection Monday evening which sent two riders to the hospital.

The OHP report states the motorcyclist was westbound on I-44 "driving recklessly on one wheel," when the he lost control, crashing in the middle of the highway.

The trooper says in the report, both the driver, Derek Bauer, 22 and passenger Tori Wheeler, 18, were taken by a private vehicle to a Tulsa hospital.

Bauer was treated and released and Wheeler was admitted with serious injuries.
