Congressman Markwayne Mullin To Hold Town Hall Meetings Across District

Oklahoma's 2nd District Congressman Markwayne Mullin begins a weeklong town hall tour across his district starting Tuesday.

The second district includes 26 counties stretching from northeast Oklahoma to southeast Oklahoma.

"I've said from the very beginning that no one would outwork us and I meant it," said Mullin. "We want to be very proactive to stay in contact with the District. I'm committed to doing Town Hall events often so there can be a constant line of communication available. We want to be able to visit with as many people as possible as often as possible. I'm looking forward to a busy travel schedule during the week and I want to encourage members of the public to attend and ask questions."

These town hall meetings are the first since Mullin was sworn into office earlier this month.

In December, Mullin held what he called a ‘listening tour' with stops in every county in the 2nd District.
