Two Oklahoma Prison Escapees Arrested In Eastern Arkansas

Two escapees from a McAlester prison are back in custody after they were arrested in the eastern Arkansas community of Palestine Wednesday evening.

The pair, Jeffery Walker, 22, and Terry Buckley, 27, ran away from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center Wednesday morning.

Prison officials say Walker was serving a sentence for robbery with a firearm and Terry Buckley was serving a sentence for possession of a controlled and dangerous substance both out of Tulsa County.

Palestine, Arkansas located west of Memphis, Tennessee on I-40.
