Fire Breaks Out At Tulsa's El Tequila Restaurant

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a fire at El Tequila restaurant near 51st Street and Harvard Avenue Wednesday about 11 a.m.

Scanner traffic indicated heavy smoke.

Fire began in the kitchen's vent system, and crews were able to put it out quickly.

No injuries have been reported.

The restaurant will be closed while damage is assessed.
