It's the only one of its kind in Oklahoma. Now a Tulsa chicken restaurant is about to close its doors for good.
Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken is closing March 31st. The restaurant is getting to be too much for owners to handle.
Many of us can't help but remember Lee's for the 1992 murders of four employees. But for co-owner Samantha Bonfetto, Lee's will always be cherished childhood memory.
"I absolutely love this place. It's where I grew up. Like I said, our customers are our family. And it's going to be a very hard loss," Bonfetto said.
Lee's has been in Samantha's family since it opened 42-years ago. To get a taste of Lee's now, you'll have to head east up I-44 to Rolla, Missouri.
