Tulsa Man Shot During Birthday Party

Tulsa police responded to a shooting they say happened at a birthday party. The call came into police at 4:30 a.m. Sunday that a man had been shot at an apartment complex at Admiral and North Lakewood.

When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the leg.

"He said he was at a birthday party at a bar," said Tulsa Police Sergeant Thaddeus Espy. "We're currently investigating, trying to figure out exactly where that is."

The shooting victim, described as a middle-aged male, was transported by EMSA to a local hospital where he is expected to recover.
