An Oklahoma top dog is up for a top award from the American Humane Association.
Crash is an English Shepherd from Dewey.
He's the only Oklahoma dog nominated for the "Hero Dog Award" from the American Humane Association. Last year, Crash won the Hero award from the Oklahoma Animal Hall of Fame.
He's helped law enforcement around the country track narcotics and find missing people.
Crash honed those skills working the family ranch.
"When he was about a year old, he was working full time on the ranch," said owner Bill Vaughan. "Moving cattle, sorting cattle. His intelligence was just growing."
