Former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich is hoping for a win in Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
In fact, Gingrich says he expects to win Oklahoma and his home state of Georgia on Tuesday.
Former Presidential Candidate Herman Cain and former Oklahoma Congressman JC Watts will campaign in the state on Monday on behalf of Gingrich.
They are expected to focus on Gingrich's promise to reduce gas prices to $2.50.
The so-called "$2.50 Gas Tour" will start Monday at 11:30 a.m. a stop in downtown Tulsa at Joe Momma's Pizza at 112 South Elgin.
At 1:30 p.m., the pair will be at Drill Right Technology, at 9630 Pole Road in Oklahoma City, and then at 3 p.m. they will stop at the Reed Center at 5800 Will Rogers Road in Midwest City.
Joining Cain and Watts will be Gingrich's daughter, Jackie Gingrich Cushman, a conservative columnist and author.
