Tulsa's Inner Dispersal Loop Back Open After Truck Rollover Crash

The westbound lanes of Interstate 244 just north of the Arkansas River Bridge in downtown Tulsa are back open after a semi tractor trailer rollover Tuesday afternoon.

The truck was carrying 50 to 60 pieces of angle iron weighing about 400 to 500 pounds each, according to Lieutenant George Brown of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The iron has spilled onto the roadway, and traffic lanes were completely shut down during the clean up.

Traffic was being detoured off the Inner Dispersal Loop, east onto the Broken Arrow Expressway.

The driver has been taken to a Tulsa hospital where he is expected to be treated and released.
