Two Misdemeanor Charges Filed By Tulsa County DA Against Richard Roberts

The Tulsa County District Attorney's Office has filed two misdemeanor charges against Richard Roberts.

The charges of driving under the influence and speeding were filed Monday in Tulsa County court.

Roberts was stopped by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper just after midnight on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

According to the arrest report, the trooper smelled alcohol on Roberts.  A breathalyzer test showed a .11 blood alcohol level, which is over the legal limit of .08.

No court date has been set and Roberts remains free on bond.
