OAKS, Oklahoma -- There are new developments in the effort to get water to the Delaware County community of Oaks.
Volunteers are wrapping up their effort to dig a trench get a get a water line into the ground that will connect the community to the county's rural water district. The Cherokee Nation paid for the line.
The Department of Environmental Quality will then have to test water samples, which could take a day or two.
