PURCELL, Oklahoma -- Lomega won a roller coaster game against Lookeba-Sickles 57-47 Saturday in a Class B Area III regional game.
The Panthers pushed their lead to 31-26 in the opening minutes of the third quarter. The Raiders quickly turnedtheir deficit into a five-point advantage and took a 40-38 lead into the final quarter.
The first quarter couldn’t have started any worse for Lomega . The Raiders’ Troy Wilczek re-injured his knee and the senior watched the rest of the game from the bench. The Raiders fell behind 10-1, but managed to come back and pull to within 10-9 at the end of the first quarter.
Lomega’s Josh Lemer led all scorers with 22 points.
