Del City Upsets Mustang

The Eagles soared past the Broncos but still fall short in 6A-2.

DEL CITY, Oklahoma—The Del City Eagles upset Mustang 52-36 in an exciting finish in district 6A-2.

Mustang (7-3, 5-2) finishes second behind Lawton in district 6A-2 followed by a three way tie for third between Westmoore, Edmond North and Del City (5-5, 4-3).

The tied teams thus turn to district points and as a result Edmond North finished third followed by Westmoore.

Mustang will now face Lawton Eisenhower (7-3, 5-2) Nov. 12 at 7:30.
