Bixby and East Central Work Out Kinks in Scrimmage

TULSA, Oklahoma – Bixby and East Central battled in a scrimmage at East Central High School on Friday night. No score was kept in the game, but the Spartans' first string outscored the Cardinals' first string 14-7.

The Spartans came out firing early and reached the endzone on their first two drives. East Central regained its composure, though, and responded when John McDavid hooked up with Kenya Osborne for a touchdown.

Both teams did experience growing pains during the tune-up. The flow of the contest was often interrupted by flags, turnovers, and even a few scuffles after the play. Now, it is back to the drawing board as the Spartans and Cardinals look to eliminate those problems in the next two weeks.
