ROGERS COUNTY -- There new developments after a Rogers County pit bull attacked an eight year old neighbor girl.
According to the girl's family, the dog attacked her completely unprovoked while she was taking out the trash. She had to have surgery to repair the damage.

Sheriff Scott Walton told News On 6 he was able to get the dog declared vicious, which places extra requirements on the owner to contain the dog.
Sheriff Walton said the owner was not able to meet those requirements, which allowed the Sheriff's Office to take the dog Wednesday to be put down.
