WASHINGTON, D.C. -- It appears the U.S. Senate will not take its usual recess for the July 4th holiday. Leaders are looking at canceling the break.
With that in mind, Oklahoma Senator Dr. Tom Coburn has canceled three town hall meetings next week in Oklahoma.
In a news release from Coburn's office, he says he will remain in D.C. to work on a solution to address the national debt crisis.
The three meetings were scheduled for Tulsa and Oklahoma City:
January 2nd, 2025
May 21st, 2025
