STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Devin Shines drove in the winning run with a two-run double with one out in the ninth inning to lift Oklahoma State past New Mexico 3-2.
Shines hit the first pitch from Austin House (0-1) into left field Friday, allowing Jared Womack and Mark Ginther to score.
Shines also had an RBI single in the fifth inning and drove in all three runs for the Cowboys (10-3). New Mexico (3-11) scored its two runs on Jacob Nelson's two-out single in the fourth. John Twichell scored from third, and Quay
Grant followed on a throwing error by Shines in left field. Brad Propst gave up two runs in 8 2/3 innings but Blake Barnes (2-0) was credited with the win after getting the final out in the top of the ninth.
