University of Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones and University of Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne were each named to the Manning Award preseason watch list.
The award is presented annually to the nation's top college quarterback and considers performance in bowl games.
Landry Jones threw for 3,198 yards as a redshirt freshman in 2009. He finished an impressive first year with a stellar performance in the Brut Sun Bowl, totaling 418 passing yards in the 31-27 win over Stanford.
Kinne, a junior from Gilmer, Texas, completed 61 percent of his passes, totaling 2,732 yards and 22 touchdowns.
10 finalists for the award will be named in late November.
