PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns have sent former Sooner Taylor Griffin to theIowa Energy, the Suns’ NBA Development League team.
The 6-foot-7 forward was selected in the second round by Phoenix, but only appeared in two games this season.
The Edmond, Okla. native played for the Sooners’ for four seasons and, along with his brother Blake Griffin who now plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, took OU to an Elite-8 appearance in the NCAA tournament.
