OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two Oklahoma Sooner players have been ruled out for the year due to injury.
Senior defensive end Auston English and senior offensive lineman Brody Eldridgehave been ruled out for the year because of the severity of their injuries, OU head coach Bob Stoops said Monday.
Both players were injured during the Sooners' 10-3 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Eldridge hurt his shoulder making a tackle after a second quarter Landry Jones interception, while English hurt his ankle in the first quarter.
