CANTON, Oklahoma -- A Canton city employee says search dogs have been brought in to make sure everyone survived a tornado reported near Canton Lake in northwest Oklahoma. There are no reports of fatalities; one person suffered scrapes.

City employee Linda Hysell said Tuesday afternoon police and city utility workers are reporting boats are wrapped around trees at the lake and there are numerous natural gas leaks and damaged trailers. A powerful tornado passed through the area earlier in the afternoon.
She says search dogs are being brought in just to make sure everyone is accounted for

In Caddo County, emergency management director Larry McDuffey says damage was reported near Lookeba and there were no immediate reports of injuries. McDuffey says trees and power lines were down, but officials don't know about damage to homes.
