Dump Truck Loses Its Spreader Equipment On A Tulsa Bridge Early Thursday

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The spreader fell off the back of a dump truck early Thursday.

The incident happened on I-44 and the Arkansas River bridge.

A dump truck with a sand spreader attached to the back was heading east on I-44 when the spreader fell off the back of the truck and onto the Arkansas River Bridge.

Crews had to turn the spreader upside down and dump out all of the sand before they could remove the equipment form the bridge.

A special piece of machinery was called in to help spread out the sand.
