Fallin Says No To Watts Release

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The brother of former Oklahoma congressman JC Watts won't be released from prison.

Governor Fallin says she can't "in good conscience" accept the recommendation from the Pardon and Parole Board to commute Lawrence Watts' sentence.

Watts was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the 2003 death of Anthony Greco. Governor Henry could have chosen to let Watts go with time served, but passed the buck to Fallin.

Fallin says she listened to Greco's family, who said Watts has shown no remorse for the killing.
