Blue Cross And Blue Shield Of Oklahoma Hires New Medical Director

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa-based pediatrician Dr. James Hendricks was recently named for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's new medical director of medical services.

In a news release, board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Hendricks comes to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma after more than 30 years in private practice.

"Dr. Hendricks is a pillar in the pediatric community," said Dr. Joseph Cunningham, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma's vice president of health care management and chief medical officer. "He has been on virtually every hospital committee possible, and has more than 30 years of experience in private practice in Tulsa."

Hendricks lives in Tulsa with his wife, Debbie. The Hendricks have three children, Joshua, Jon and Katherine.
