TULSA, OK -- A grand opening for the new North Tulsa grocery store is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 16 at 1601 N. Peoria.
Gateway Market will open in the former Albertson's Grocery store building that has been vacant for several years.
"After months of hard work, I am so excited to finally open this store," said owner Antonio Perez. "It will bring fresh food and shopping back to the north community, and I'm proud to be a catalyst that has provided jobs and a much needed resource for local residents."
Scheduled speakers include Perez, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Tulsa city councilors Jack Henderson and Roscoe Turner and other business leaders from the Tulsa area.
