TULSA, OK -- The Knittin' Kittens are at it again. The group of knitters donated about 650 hat and scarf sets to the students at Union's Grove Elementary on Tuesday.
Every year the group picks a school and makes sure each child there gets a hat or scarf, or the set if they'd like.
"My kids, my grandkids, they all have everything that I could knit. They all have scarves, hats, they don't need any more, so this is an outlet for us," said Jean Bailie, Knittin' Kittens.
The Knittin' Kittens also work throughout the year making chemo caps for cancer patients, baby blankets for hospitals or anywhere else they see a need.
Knittin' Kittens is a group of volunteers who love to knit. They are part of the Tulsa Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
