H1N1 Outbreak Cancels Wynnewood High School Football Game

WYNNEWOOD, OK -- Wynnewood High School has canceled tonight's football game because two students in the district have confirmed cases of H1N1. 

No one on the football team is confirmed, but some players do have flu like symptoms, Wynnewood Superintendent Alfred Gaches said.

"We just don't have the numbers," Gaches said.

Wynnewood is located near I-35 in Garvin County, about half way between Oklahoma City and the Texas state line.

Gaches said the school will try to reschedule the game against Oklahoma Christian School, but is not sure how feasible it will be.

"We're trying to do what's best for our students," Gaches said.
