CHECOTAH---The National Corvette Caravan stopped in Checotah yesterday on their way to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Over 400 of the muscle-cars stopped at the Little League/Softball Complex for lunch and a chance to cool their engines.
‘The Corvette Caravan is a great experience,' said Russ Fulwood from California, ‘you're in a group that shares the same passion that you do, you meet new people, share experiences, see a lot of the country, it's just a great experience.'
Different caravans of the iconic American roadsters will converge today at the Corvette Museum to mark the 15th anniversary of the museum, located across from the GM factory that has been churning out the Corvette for over 50 years.
