John Zink To Lay Off 63 Tulsa Employees

TULSA, OK -- The John Zink Company announced Thursday an 8% reduction of its U.S. workforce.

Company officials say that means 63 employees at the Tulsa facility will be laid off in 60 days.

Koch Industries spokeswoman Theresa Johnson says those employees were notified on Thursday.

The company has about 850 employees in the U.S.

According to the John Zink web site, the firm provides products and technologies that enhance air and water quality.

The Tulsa facility is located at 11920 East Apache Street.
