Former Washington County Treasurer Sentenced In Drug Case

Former Washington County treasurer Stan Stevens has been given a 5 year deferred sentence after pleading guilty to felony drug charges.

BARTLESVILLE, OK -- Former Washington County treasurer Stan Stevens has been given a 5 year deferred sentence after pleading guilty to felony drug charges.

During a hearing in Washington County District Court, Stevens plead guilty to distribution of a controlled substance, conspiracy to distribute drugs and possession of drugs.

Stevens was arrested in January 2008.

Two other county employees were also arrested in connection with Stevens' arrest. Kodi Ferguson and Clyde Walker, Jr. pled guilty last year and were given deferred sentences.
