TULSA, OK -- Dozens of dogs are looking for a new home. In all 26 boxers, mostly puppies, were abandoned at the Tulsa County Animal Shelter on Thursday.
The dogs range in age from eight weeks to two-years-old.
The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office took possession of them from a local breeder. They say it wasn't a case of animal cruelty, but the breeder's health didn't allow her to care for them properly.
All the dogs will be spayed and neutered before they can be adopted.
