LUTHER, Ok -- Earthquakes hit the southeast areas of Oklahoma County Tuesday, including Luther, Harrah and Jones. Residents reported feeling them last week as well, in the same areas.
Officials said the nine quakes that hit Tuesday had an estimated magnitude of 3.1 to 3.2 ranges.
Geological survey officials don't know what caused the series of tremors, but they do report the area sees around 50 weaker earthquakes each year.
They also ask residents to report quakes by visiting their website to submit information.
