TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Oilers were checking out their new digs on Wednesday.
Crews were painting the stripes on the ice, getting it ready for Saturday's first game at the BOK Center.
The Oilers play against their rivals, the Oklahoma City Blazers.
The Oilers owner says moving into the new arena has been great for the team. He says it's a way to draw new talent. And, of course, it has plenty of perks.
"From everything I've been told and other buildings around the country I've been in, it's an NHL type locker room, so they oughta be pumped," said Oilers' owner Jeff Lund.
Crews will add another layer of ice. And, by Thursday, it'll be ready to skate on.
