One of the most visible upgrades to Tulsa's RiverParks Trail is ready to be installed. It's a new bridge over Crow Creek at 31st and Riverside.
The new span is much larger than the current pedestrian bridge. In fact, it's wide enough to continue the park's new dual-trail system, designed to ease congestion for pedestrians and cyclists.
The bridge should be installed in the next couple of weeks. It was paid for by grants, the third-penny sales tax and a donation from the Kaiser Family Foundation.
