The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has released a sketch of a person of interest in connection with the death of an Okmulgee resident last Thursday.
The OSBI says investigators came up with the sketch after talking with several eyewitnesses in the death of 40-year-old Tammy Harjo.
Harjo's body was discovered inside her home Friday morning.
The state Medical Examiner's Office says Harjo died of blunt force trauma to her body.
The sketch is that of a native American, approximately 20-years-old with a slender build. The unidentified person was seen walking up to the victim's home in Okmulgee Thursday evening.
Okmulgee Police say the man was wearing a light red tee shirt, black shorts with a grey cuff, and white tennis shoes.
If anyone recognizes the person in the sketch, they are urged to call either the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017 or the Okmulgee Police Department.
