The News On 6 WARN Team mobilizes when severe weather threatens. Whether they are on television or in the field, News On 6 meteorologists work hard to bring you the information you need to stay safe.
On Thursday, May 1, severe weather stormed through parts of Green Country. While Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer and meteorologist Dick Faurot tracked the storms from the WARN Weather Center, meteorologist Katie Green went into the field to report back first-hand information.
NewsOn6.com Video Journalist Chris Howell went along with Green and WARN Unit Paul Stephenson to experience storm tracking from their perspective.
Howell has a behind-the-scenes look at storm tracking. Click the link to the right to watch his video.
Remember, News On 6 WARN units are trained to track storms; they know what to look for and how to stay safe. If severe weather threatens you, you should take cover immediately. For severe weather safety tips, click in to the Storm Zone. You can find it in the NewsOn6.com weather section.
