New Speaker Bringing Parties Closer

The new Speaker of the Oklahoma House says he'll bring Republicans and Democrats closer together.  Republican Chris Benge of Sand Springs was elected speaker after Lance Cargill stepped down.

Democrats have accused Republicans of playing partisan politics by refusing to hear any Democrat-sponsored bills in the past.

At least some Democrats expect that to change under Benge's leadership.
