LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A big weekend for "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?" at the box office.

The film debuted as the weekend's top film taking in more than $21 million, easily beating out films starring George Clooney and Cate Blanchett.

George Clooney's legal drama "Michael Clayton," Mark Wahlberg's "We Own the Night" and last week's top film "The Game Plan" all took in roughly 11 million to create a three-way race for second.

Blanchett's "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" took home more than six million.

The exact rankings will be determined by final studio numbers when they are released on Monday.
