NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ A bronze statue of Oklahoma Heisman Trophy winner Billy Vessels is being moved from outside Owen Field to his hometown of Cleveland, Oklahoma.

The bronze statue will be replaced with a larger statue of Vessels to match the sizes of a sculpture of Steve Owens and the statues of Billy Sims and Jason White.

The bronze statue of Vessels will be dedicated next Thursday outside Cleveland High School's football stadium.
