TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Tulsa Drillers missed a chance to gain ground in the Texas League North Division as Frisco beat the Drillers 6-5 in 12 innings.
Drillers designated hitter Duke Sardinha tied the game at 5 in the 11th with a home run. But Tulsa ran out of relievers and Sardinha was called on to pitch the 12th and gave up a leadoff homer.
Division leader Springfield and second-place Arkansas also lost to keep Tulsa a game-and-a-half behind the Cardinals and a half-game behind the Travelers.
