OU, OSU Players Among Those Honored For Academics

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Eight players from Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are named to this year's first team All-Big 12 Academic Football Team.

Those selected were required to maintain a minimum 3.2 grade-point average.

OU quarterback Sam Bradford was the only one of the eight with a perfect 4.0 average. Others named to the team for the Sooners are Russell English, Sherrone Moore, DeMarco Murray and Adrian Taylor.

Oklahoma State players named to the first team include Seb Clements, Clint Coe and Cole Reynolds.
