(Norman-AP) -- Redshirt freshman Erin Higgins has been named the Big 12 Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week.

Higgins averaged 10 and half points, 1 and a half rebounds, two assists and two and a half steals per game last week.

Higgins hit 14 three-pointers and tied a career best by hitting six in Oklahoma's 24-point victory over Kansas.
