A Tulsa man is behind bars after threatening officers with a knife early Wednesday morning.
It started shortly after midnight, when a woman on West Easton Court told officers she was attacked by a neighbor’s dog. Tulsa Police found the woman who'd been bitten. She pointed out a neighbor’s house down the street. When officers went to the man's house, he turned on them. Tulsa Police Captain Brad Clark: “When we went up to talk with him he pulled a knife on 1 of the officers threatened to kill us and retreated back into the house.â€
Officers negotiated with the suspect about 2 hours until they shot a chemical agent into the house and he came out.
Charges are pending. The dogs were picked up by animal control officers.
