An investigation into a body found lying along the Sand Springs Expressway.

Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies were originally called out for an auto-pedestrian accident around one o'clock Wednesday morning. When deputies arrived, they discovered the victim had been shot. The victim was found lying on the north side of the highway.

There's no word on any suspects. The victim's name has not been released.
