NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Hollis Price and Quannas White each scored 19 points as No. 5 Oklahoma built a 32-point second-half lead and then held on to beat No. 6 Kansas 77-70 Sunday.
The Sooners (19-4, 10-2) moved into a first-place tie with Kansas in the Big 12 and extended their homecourt winning streak to 36 games, longest in the nation.
Kansas (20-6, 10-2) got 21 points from Kirk Hinrich and 15 points and 14 rebounds from Nick Collison, but couldn't overcome an awful start. The Jayhawks trailed by 21 points at halftime and by 59-27 with four minutes into the second half before getting as close as five in the final minute.
Price came up with one of Sunday's biggest shots, a leaner over Hinrich that stopped a 7-0 Kansas run and gave Oklahoma a 72-61 lead with 2:13 to play.
