(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa junior Michael Dulaney is among the 69 players on the pre-season ``watch list'' for the Butkus Award, given annually to the nation's best collegiate linebacker.

Dulaney is in his first season with the Golden Hurricane, after transferring from Oklahoma. and sitting out the 2000 season.

In his only season with the Sooners, Dulaney recorded 30 tackles, including 19 unassisted.

Dulaney won't play Thursday when Tulsa opens the season at home against Indiana State. He's out with a broken right thumb.
